About Elizabeth:
My passion is photography and the love I have for it began years ago when I was in Junior high. Back then, we used film and a dark room to develop our photos. It was a blast to say the least, and I couldn't get enough. I guess you could say from the age of 15, I was hooked. For me, there has always been something very magical about creating and bringing the photos I shoot to life. Over the years I have continued to learn about photographing various subject matters and have evolved as a photographer who likes to keep up with the times, but still maintains a classical style that will continue to be treasured ten, fifteen, twenty or even fifty years down the road. One of my mottos is that, "it must stand the test of time"! I have a keen eye for composition and love nothing more than capturing those special moments while out on a shoot that tell the subject's story. I look forward to hearing from you! ~Elizabeth What our shoot will be like if you hire me as your photographer: 1) I am definitely a people person, and would love nothing more than getting to know you. It's important when taking photos to know the subject's personality. I will take the time to learn about you before we begin shooting, so I can bring out the "real" you in your photos. My goal is to help you feel comfortable so you enjoy the experience and look natural in your photos. A picture tells a thousand words so they say, but if the photographer doesn't get to know their subject and help them to feel comfortable, the photo may not really tell their story. 2) You won't just get a run of the mill experience if you hire me. I will take the time to find the best available lighting, site to shoot at etc. for your session. Even if this means we are in the middle of a shoot and we have to move to another location due to poor lighting or inclement weather, together we will work as a team to make sure you get what you want and that what you get is good quality! Many factors go into taking a great shot such as lighting, setting, time of day, weather etc.. But, despite all these factors, a good photographer can find ways by making adjustments to the shoot that will yield a great final product. 3) I will take the time to listen to what ideas you have for your shoot, and after listening, I will give you my professional feedback, thoughts and ideas that I may have.
